Redesign Reveal : Diamond Pendant
A few weeks ago I posted this image of a wax I had just finished cutting and the sketch of a diamond pendant custom design. The center stone is a two carat emerald cut diamond.
I’ve been waiting for the customer to give me the go to reveal the finished piece. Tell me what you think!!

Marco + Letty
A few weeks ago, I helped design in a custom pendant for a customer, Marco. He wanted to surprise his wife, Letty, with a pendant to represent their 5 year wedding anniversary. Together we created this design to capture the significance of their love.
A five petal flower is carved out of wood, representing the strength of their marriage. Each flower petal represents a year of their marriage. Lastly, a bezel of multi-colored sapphires and tourmaline in the center.
The best part about this design is the lovely message we received from Letty, she wrote “I have to give Rudy super kudos for the pendant he designed with my husband.”

Three weeks ago I featured a design I was working on for a customer using her diamonds and rubies. Today, the ring is finished!!
The finished design uses most of the customers stones. I used the smaller diamonds to create a “halo” around the center diamond and gives the diamond extra oomph! I also made halos for the rubies for added richness.

Ring Design With A BANG!
I made this design for a customer who knew he wanted to give his wife a ring but wanted to design something unusual. The inspiration for the design came from an old illustration he brought in of a type of revolver women carried in the early days of the United States. Together we came up with this ring design.
The ring itself is all silver with engraved embellishments. The cylinder of the revolver is rose gold making it have that old-worldly look. Finally, for a gun metal feel, we gave the ring a satin finish.
The original design called for ruby cabochons but we decided it was best to keep ”The Gun Ring” unloaded.

Redesign : Diamond Pendant
This is pendant is not finished yet. I just finished cutting the wax yesterday. But I wanted to give you a look at how it all comes together. The finished pieced will be two-toned, white and yellow gold and prong set diamonds. It should be done in about 10 more days.

Redesign : Turquoise Cocktail Ring
It’s not everyday you’re asked to take apart a David Yurman ring. The customer I made this ring for brought in a beautiful, large David Yurman ring that she was “tired of”. She wanted to use the turquoise as a center piece for a large cocktail ring. After a few tries, together agreed on this design.
Set in 18k yellow gold, the ring features 17 carats of yellow sapphires and the original David Yurman turquoise recut into an oval.

Gipsy Earrings
I designed these earring for a customer who brought in a little bag of diamonds. She wanted earrings she could wear everyday that would be practical, stylish and used the diamonds in her stash. Huggies make for a great comfortable day to day choice and a gipsy setting allowed her to use all her diamonds in a playful, whimsical way.
